Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or CTS, is a very common repetitive use injury usually due to the increased amounts of computer use in our society. Many of our patients are at work stations from 4-10 hours a day 4-6 days a week. The repetition of these type of jobs cause a narrowing of the tunnel in the wrist which results in pain and numbness in the wrist and fingers. Our center uses some physical therapy modalities to decrease inflammation. The chiropractor will manipulate the wrist using a specific bone that passes through that tunnel to allow for the tunnel to open. This will allow the nerves to pass freely thus decreasing the symptoms.
